Nap Time!

Ok - so most of you know how much my family loves to nap (including me). The other day Jamin was napping with Kara and Jace and when Kara woke up she told me to go look at Daddy and Jace. Here are the pictures...simply adorable.

Don't they look comfy...I couldn't believe Jace's leg was on Jamin (too cute)

May is Almost Over!

I seriously can not believe that today is the last day of May. Time keeps flying by. Well...we survived the month and actually had a lot of fun towards the end. Mother's Day was great and we even had some nice sunny weather, which the kids enjoyed with time in the sprinkler. We even survived our 2nd Annual Marecle Memorial Weekend Garage Sale. I must admit we are starting to get some type of routine down with Bryce and its making the days a little more easy. He loves taking a bath before bedtime and I started putting him in his crib about 4 days ago (wow - we both are sleeping much better now.) All in all everyone is doing great and looking forward to the summer - I sure hope we get some good weather.

Here we are just over 4 weeks into a family of five. Things seem to be pretty much back to normal, but I have definitely hit my "wall." I am definitely feeling the effects of sleep deprivation and basically, I am just tired. No big surprise.

Bryce is just plugging along like a newborn does. We are attempting to "potty train" Jace - which I have to say is the toughest thing I have faced as a parent (so far). I know when the teenage years hit I am going to wish I was only dealing with potty training, but honestly we are no good at this and its very frustrating. Oh, well we made it through with Kara and we will again with Jace.

Kara is finishing up preschool in the next month and we have already enrolled her in Kindergarten (I can not believe it!). She is just so amazing...the picture is of her May Day program at preschool. She is still very shy like her daddy, but she is starting to be more of an "extrovert" like her mommy - she is getting sassy like me:-)

All in all - we are rolling on...it already feels a little like Bryce has always been here and we have always had three kids. Today was wonderful with all the sunshine. I sure hope we get more of that.

Adorable Smile:-)

Time for a New Post

Cutie Pie - Bryce 2 1/2 weeks old

Ok - so we have just passed the three (3) week mark with Bryce. At his two (2) week check up he weighed in at 8 lbs. 5 oz. and measured 20 inches. He is growing like a weed. I just put away all the newborn clothes this weekend and started putting him in his 0-3 month stuff. Its crazy to think its already May and Bryce will be 4 weeks old this Friday.
Jamin took Kara and Jace fishing with the Kowalchuk kids for opening weekend of fishing (April 27). They had a blast. Jamin is still busy working away in our yard (he FINDS projects) which is nice because Kara and Jace love helping daddy in the yard. Luckily, we have had a few nice days so the kids have been able to play outside. I have started taking short little walks between our house and the neighbors with Bryce and he seems to like being outside. Not much else going on at this point.

Gone Fishing - Jamin thought he was taking a picture...he had no idea he was taking a video.
