Sorry this one is sideways, this next one is great because he is playing in the sprinkler:
One more - this was taken today at Jace's 1st Soccer practice:
So that brings me to my next "craziness" of our life: Jace had his 1st soccer practice today and he did so great. I was so impressed that he actually got out with his team and listened to the coach and didn't really look back at us at all. I thought he was going to be more clingy, but he really enjoyed himself and by the end was giving the coach high 5's. This is going to be fun!

Next, Kara is playing t-ball. She is loving it. I can't believe we are in t-ball already! She loves her team and we had a practice game the other day and I couldn't believe how well everyone on her team listened to the coach and actually proved that they had learned something at the practices. Our coach is great. So is Jace's soccer coach. I am so grateful that these coaches are not taking things so seriously when these kids are still so young.

Also, Kara earned a reward for all her hard work with reading this school year. She chose to get her ears pierced! I was so nervous and tried not to show it because she was so calm and excited. She did great! She almost started crying about 10 seconds after it was all done. Much to my surprise they do both ears at the same time - I know get with the times! They are all growing up so fast. Its so much fun:-)
Look closely, her ears have earrings in them...not the greatest picture (sorry).
Where do I start...We celebrated his first b-day on his actual birth day, April 11. It was a great day shared with family and friends. We are truly blessed...I can honestly say that I was the least emotional with this one because I am finally "ok" with my children growing up. I don't think you can ever really be 100% happy with the fact that time continues to fly by, but you start becoming "ok" with time going by. I am excited about the children growing up and the fact that my baby is now one and I guess officially a toddler - I am actually doing "ok." (I finally cried today, but not on his b-day).

I figured I would share these hilarious pictures of Bryce eating licorice. I forgot that I had a package of licorice in the diaper bag and while I was cooking dinner he found a piece and started slobbering all over it. Once I realized what he was doing I simply stuck him in the high chair and let him go to town. It was great fun! I thought it looked like something from a horror film, the red was everywhere. Boy, he loved it.
