So I can't seem to capture Bryce walking on video yet! What a bugger...he has decided he doesn't really want to walk now. He will stand for a long time and even bop up and down, but after the first two steps he collapses back down to crawling. Honestly, I am ok with this. I promise to post his first video walking once I can get it. The other tough part is he only wants to walk to me and when I am holding a camera he just wants to play with it! Oh, well.

I figured I would share these hilarious pictures of Bryce eating licorice. I forgot that I had a package of licorice in the diaper bag and while I was cooking dinner he found a piece and started slobbering all over it. Once I realized what he was doing I simply stuck him in the high chair and let him go to town. It was great fun! I thought it looked like something from a horror film, the red was everywhere. Boy, he loved it.

I have been in the spirit of getting out lately and took the kids to the Tacoma Children's Museum over two weeks ago. My friend Sara McGowan and I share a birthday week and have kept to the tradition of getting together each year to celebrate. This year we decided to do it true mommy-style with the kids. We had a great time playing around the museum and then heading to the Old Spaghetti Factory for lunch. I must say our kids did very well and had lots of fun.
Then today I was able to join my friend Saundra and her two girls Camden & Brooklyn for a trip up to the Seattle Children's Museum. We were lucky enough to have our friends the Cypher's meet us up there. It was very busy, but a lot of fun. It was a long day, but once again the kids had a blast and are fast asleep as I type! I didn't get any pictures of it, but we witnessed the "eruption" of the water fountain in the middle of Seattle Center and call me crazy, but I didn't realize all the things it did. I have lived here my whole life and never knew that it played music, made sounds and "erupted" like it did. I think that was the best thing to watch the kids take in. They were all watched with such excitement and admiration. It was a fun day.

Oh, yeah - we also got new hardwood floors in the house. I am loving them! I didn't really get any good pictures of them installing them, but Jamin worked along side the installer and then proceeded to install a room at Grammie and Papa's. We are loving hardwoods:-0 I guess that would make sense since we are both in love with the game of basketball (ha, ha).
