Catching Up...Cancun April 2010

Jamin was honored this past April from his work with an all expense paid trip to Cancun. So, Jamin and I packed up and spent 7 glorious days as a couple in sunny Mexico. I will be honest...I wasn't too excited about going to Mexico, but after being down there it was the most amazing trip we have ever been on. They treated us like ROYALTY! The all-inclusive thing was the greatest, too. I am so proud of Jamin! Thank you Big Rock Sports for taking care of your employees:-)
I didn't take a lot of pictures because I was too busy having fun and not caring about taking pictures (I am so used to only taking pictures of the kids). Anyway, the room was HUGE, the resort was AMAZING and we were right on the Caribbean Ocean! I could go on and on...

Happy Birthday Bryce & Welcome new Marecle family member

I can't believe it - another birthday party. Bryce officially became a 2 year old on Sunday, April 11. He is so big and talks like CRAZY! We celebrated his birthday this year by taking our maiden camping voyage for 2010. Thank you everyone who joined. It was a lot of fun and the only time it rained was while we were sleeping.

We came home after the camping trip and gave Bryce his "lightening McQueen" bowling set and he was so excited. This child is OBSESSED with McQueen...he is just like his father. Finds something he likes and becomes obsessed:-) Then of course, we had to make our traditional dinner trip to the Red Robin. Bryce loves his chocolate milkshake.

Then, we have the exciting introduction of "TAV" our new black labrador puppy. Unfortunately, 3 weeks ago we lost Cami and therefore, we now have a new puppy. "Tav" arrived at our home on Tuesday, April 13th and he is so adorable and lots of fun. Everyone is enjoying playing with him. Can't believe we have a puppy again.

Seriously...only 4 months later...

Yikes - I have been lost from the world of blogging for some time now. Too much has been going on, but nothing more than anyone else. Basically, I got lazy. Quick look with pictures is the best I can do.

Santa Pics & Cougar Christmas Party

So the Marecle family, for the first time, is ahead of schedule for the holidays! Picture with Santa (check), Christmas tree (check) and a Christmas party (check). Its only the first weekend in December! Unexpectantly we got pictures with Santa - the plan was to take the kids to the near-by Fire Station to meet Santa, tour the fire engines and ambulance, but I read the flyer incorrectly and it was just a photo op with Santa! Needless to say the kids got an inside look at the neighborhood fire station and got to see the firefighters in action as they got called out. Then we had some friends from college over for a Cougar Christmas party, which of course was a ton of fun! Thanks to all who attended - we missed all who were not able to attend. Happy Holidays:-)

I just loved watching Jace in action - he was so into decorating the tree. He even tried helping by putting up the lights. The picture is very blurry, but I wanted to get the lights and with flash that didn't work.
